Welcome!

Welcome everyone to Jutty’s Journey!  We’re so glad you are here.

Most of you that are here either knew Justin, “Jutty,” or me, Jackie , “Mama Jax”, and I love that you have joined us.  If you don’t know either of us, I am excited that you have found us!

The website has been quite a project in the making. We have to give a special thank you to Bill Mitchell for all the technical work, and time. He started it with IT experience but no knowledge in Website Building, and look what a wonderful job he has done! Bill is a childhood friend of my hubby/Jutty’s dad, Mark, and of course a friend of Jutty’s and mine. I also want to thank the members of our Board who have given their input and time. I, in no way, could have done it without you!

So….what is Jutty’s Journey?  Well there’s a brief description on the Mission Page but please allow me to elaborate.  I founded Jutty’s Journey in memory of my beautiful boy to help First Responders.  He worked as a First Responder all of his life and I saw and heard about the struggles, low pay, long hours, lack of sleep, lack of proper nutrition, mental struggle, etc, etc, etc.  It’s time to HELP THE HELPERS.  You are there for us and we need to be there for you. We appreciate you!

I started back in 2017 with my idea and did a lot of research.  I had to write Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws and many policies.  I am so thankful for technology and the ability to research everything.  I hired a company to help me get started with the legal forms.  I filed for a Tax ID and State ID and received them in February 2018.  I then started the filing for the Non Profit Status and received that in May 2019.  Why, you ask, am I boring you with all this?  Well, I wanted you to know that I have been working on it for a long time and did not forget my First Responders.  We are slowly getting our bearings and doing some small things to help you, with the goal to do more and more.  The Pandemic has certainly slowed us down some, but didn’t stop us.

Please keep in mind that if you are in crises, I ask that you seek help immediately.  There are great resources on our Main Page that will take you directly where you need to go.  I would love to be able to help you during your crises but I am not knowledgeable enough to do that.  I can tell you this…..there is no shame in seeking help, and the sooner you can get that help, the better.  Please don’t wait until it is too late, as Jutty did.  We lost a kind soul and a part of this universe.  You are what makes this world what it is, whether you want to believe it or not.

You are perfect exactly as you are.

With all your flaws and problems,

There’s no need to change anything.

All you need to change is the thought

That you have to change.

With Gratitude and Love,

Mama Jax

Very nice first post Mama Jax! Thanks for the kudos, but I’m very honored to be doing this for Jutty, Mark, and you. This is a very good cause.
